Groups should be limited to a maximum of 12 participants. Volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Upon arrival at HHOC, volunteers will be asked to sign in and complete a liability waiver electronically. No other paperwork is required prior to arrival.
A staff member or volunteer will gladly offer a tour of the house, talk about our mission, and answer any questions that your group may have!
Location and Arrival:
We are located at 1400 Scott Avenue. Upon arrival, please report to the front entrance of the house (facing Scott Avenue) and ring the doorbell. A staff member will ask you to identify yourself or your group and let you in.
Volunteers are welcome to street parking along Kenilworth Avenue or the gravel lot located at 1412 Scott Avenue.
Please plan for 15 to 20 guests and bring all ingredients required for the meal. HHOC will provide all kitchen equipment, cooking utensils, and serving dishes. To make cleanup easier, we ask that groups bring disposable plates, cups, paper towels, and 33-gallon trash bags. Please note that HHOC is an alcohol-free facility.
Please arrive by 5:45 pm. We will be providing juice/water and cupcakes for 60 residents.
